‘Bolts down Coventry, 1-0!

Cranston East began its 2025 with a 1-0 victory over the Oakers of Coventry in the annual Injury Fund (50-minute game), held at Cranston Stadium.
Late in the second half, the Thunderbolt received the game's only goal when freshman Jorge Rodriguez sent a direct kick from midfield into the box. Junior Sasha Osingua got a head on the ball before Michael Ogunmola knocked it past the goalkeeper.
Junior Camden Fermin, who was called on early to man the posts, had three saves and played 40 solid minutes in goal.

Bolts in road loss, 1-0!

In their league opener, Cranston East held a distinct field advantage in the first half; however, they couldn't convert on seven corner kicks, en route to a 1-0 loss to the Wizards at West Warwick.
West Warwick, which had only three shots in the first half, scored late in the half on a right cross that was headed in by Colin Peixinho.
For the game, the Thunderbolt held a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks and outshot the home team, 17-11.
Junior Camden Fermin was solid in the net, recording 9 saves.

Thunderbolt comes from behind for a 3-2 road win!

Trailing 2-0 after one half, the Thunderbolt regrouped and came from behind to win, 3-2, at Ponaganset.
Five minutes into the second half, Giovani Love dribbled in the box and passed back to Christian Isernia, who sent a shot by the goalkeeper to cut the lead to 2-1.
With 25 minutes to play, senior Herbert Silva scored on a corner kick to tie the game at 2-2.
Minutes later, Love was tripped in the box and scored the go-ahead goal on a penalty shot.

Junior Giovani Love, who earned Player of the Game honors, assisted on one goal and scored the go-ahead goal for the Thunderbolts.

East holds onto
a 3-2 win!

In a Division III matchup, Cranston East held on to a 3-2 victory over Ponaganset.
The Thunderbolt received two goals from freshman Ivan Her in the first half.
With the solid play of goalkeeper Allen Paxton (12 saves), the Chieftans prevented the ‘Bolts from scoring the third goal.
With 22 minutes left, Adam McEntee cut the lead to 2-1 on a shot from 40 yards out.
Cranston East made it 3-1 with 13 minutes left when Christian Isernia found William Adenmosum free in the box.
Ponaganset’s Andre Mendes made 3-2 with 11 minutes left.
The Thunderbolt, however, hung on for the win and improved to 8-4-1 on the year.

East and Prout
battle to 1-1 tie!

Senior Luca Trombino had 10 saves to help Prout tie Cranston East, 1-1.
The Thunderbolt, who were playing their fourth game in five days, took a 1-0 lead in the first half when freshman Jorge Rodriguez found junior Sasha Osingua inside the 18.
In the second half, senior Inaki Perez scored from a 40- yard direct kick with 25 minutes left to tie the game.
Sophomore Juan Delarosa had five saves for the ‘Bolt (3-2-1).

Thunderbolt win 10th game!

Led by the strong play of defenders Max Catrambone, Jordan Kwandranc, Ivan Her and Mario Santos, Cranston East limited the Scarlet Knights to six shots on goal en route to a 5-1 victory.
Michael Ogunmola (three goals), William Adenmosum, and Israel Estrada provided the scoring with assists from Breal Juarez, Jorge Rodriguez, Herbert Silva, and Christian Isernia.
EWG freshman Desmond Butler scored late in the game to prevent a shutout.
The win improved the ‘Bolt to 10-6-1 in league play

The 'Bolts, which once had a 31-game streak without being issued a card from 2013-2015, received the Division Two Sportsmanship Team of the Year in 2023 and 2024.
They have averaged less than four cards per year over the past twelve years (205 games played).

West overcome
East in City Cup!

Division I Cranston West broke a 1-1 halftime score to beat a younger Cranston East team, 4-1, in the annual City Cup!
Freshman Israel Estrada, one of six freshmen who played in the game for East, scored the only goal for the Thunderbolt in the first half.
